Teddy's adventure in honey-world

In a dense forest far away, there was a furry honey-loving bear, called Teddy. One rainy day, Teddy decided to take a walk on the forest path. Teddy bounced along the crunchy leaves for a few hours. Just then, his leg slipped into the leaves , and before he knew it, he had fallen into a deep hole.
Teddy looked up, and he could see a tiny bit of the sky. "Oh, no!" said Teddy.
He decided to look around the tunnel of holes. He went into a tunnel that looked the least dark, since he was scared of the dark. Just then, he saw a glint of light. He realized that it was a golden vase full of sweet-smelling honey! Teddy lunged forward, eager to taste food,-but just as he stuck his head into the vase, he felt himself falling down a tunnel, and after a few minutes of external darkness, he came face-to-face with a vast field covered with honey!Teddy screamed in delight, he found some honey fountains, and took a swim in the gooey honey.
Then, he found a car made out of honey candy. He jumped inside and started driving. He kept driving until he arrived at a huge mansion covered with honey. A plump, orange furred bear came out. "Hello, welcome to Honey World!" Teddy held up his hands in greeting. Then he jumped into the mansion full of honey.
After 2 years, Teddy was now an oversized fat bear, his tummy was as big as 5 pigs put together. He was sleeping  on his bony-brownie bed, when his friend bear Telly, came into his room. :"Hello" he said with an evil smile. "Wuss up?" asked Teddy. Suddenly, Telly grotesquely transformed into what looked like a gigantic bee.
"Time to die!" said the bee. Teddy ran and ran, out of the mansion, and onto his car, but his belly was too big that he couldn't fit his body inside the car.
"Oh no!" cussed Teddy. then he saw a honey-fudge tank rushing by. He jumped on, and safely escaped from the mansion. But, a few minutes later, a huge droning sound started coming nearer. He turned around and saw billions of bees, led by the ex-Telly. Just then, Teddy saw a small golden vase, It was the same vase he had stuck his head into, 2 years ago. He quickly tried to stick it himself, but he couldn't.
The bees were getting nearer and nearer... Then his stomach exploded, and 50,000 kgs of honey came out. Bees rushed closer to Teddy....
Then Teddy was back to his own forest, and he ran home to his mom. "Mom! Mom! I've been gone for 2 years. Bees! Bees!" His mom said, "calm down, calm down, you've been away for only 30 minutes." Teddy was confused. So he decided to take a walk to the forest again. Just then, he saw a golden vase full of honey...

The watch that is my sibling(almost)

I got a watch in 2006. March 1st to be exact. Even though I was seven then, I didn't know what it was. All I knew was that they were the things that grown-ups often wear. When I heard from my mom that it cost 180,000 won($171), I hardly wore it to the kindergarten, and when I did, it was for show-offs. But as time passed, I found out that this thing was bought to be worn and check the time. Once I got to school, I wore it constantly.
When I first got it, it was really shiny and new. It had six modes;the time, stopwatch, timer, alarm, time/day format, and the date/day. It also had a glow-in-the-dark function. It had a brownish green leather strap, a button to change modes and start it, and another button that set the analog clock, or activate the 'glow-in-the-dark function. It showed both digital and analog clocks.
During about 170 million ticks of my watch, the strap changed twice, and now it's a dark brown color. I think I'll change it again before it gets 180 million ticks. The battery was also changed twice, and now the batter cover has a lot of scrapes.
But some things haven't changed. The six modes are still doing fine, and the scrapes haven't damaged the insides as well. What's more, now I think of this watch as my sibling(almost). It's lived too long with me!

The two-wheeled bike

Do you remember learning to ride a two-wheeled bike? Most of the kids learn to ride it around 5,or 6 years old. However, I was very late at starting. I didn't even think of trying until I was 10(korean age). I was in the third grade then, and my mom told me that it was time to learn how to ride a bike(on 2 wheels, not 4), and me, feeling thoroughly excited, followed her.
We had a 'bikeway'(also called 'bike path') on the side of the stream near us,but mom said I couldn't go there yet. We rented a bike for 2000 won($2) for an hour. I couldn't wait to try, but I did feel a bit nervous.
Practicing was pretty hard, harder than I thought. On the first day(Aug 4 2009) I was shouting for my mom to grab my backside, and my mom pushed the bike while she ran from the back. The instant she let go, I fell. All the other little kids stared at me,since I was probably the oldest one there, but I didn't care. I kept practicing, even though my knee hurt from the scrape.
After about two months or 8 practice sessions, I was finally able to go on the road. It was October 2009. I felt tremendously delighted. 7 months later, I got my own two wheeled bike, and we no longer had the '1 hour' limit. If someone told me when I first got on the road I would be doing 60 km in 18 months, I wouldn't have believed it. But it became true. In fact, less than a year later I was doing 50.
I learned two lessons here. The first lesson is that determination can make anything possible. The second lesson is that once you get the hang of something, you can get good at it as long as you enjoy it, and faster than you think. In August 2009 I was bumping off the walls. In August 2010 I set a record of 56.25 km(in a single day) that wasn't broken until next year.

About Me (and my blog)

Hello, everyone. I will tell you about my life(Audience Boo). Don't do that. I know!
I live in a country called Korea(South), and my name(Korean) is Jiwoo Jang, and my English name is Eric. I am 12 years old(boo) and currently attend Seoul Sahmyook Elementary School. At school, I like math, English, Science, and P.E. I'm quite good at the first three, but I think I'm not that good in P.E. I still think I like it, except when they play soccer. That's when I stand on the ground and do nothing. Oh my god!
I have two hobbies; reading books and riding my bike. I don't have a favorite book, there's so many to choose. But I do have something to talk about riding my bike. My bike isn't all that great. It's only about
200,000 won($190), but I travel quite long distances with my dad. In Seoul we ride about
50~60 kilometers(31~37 miles), so it is a good way to travel reasonably short travels. Sadly, my mom is too tired to ride with us. But luckily that has made me and dad talk a lot, and we knew more about each other.
Of the four subjects I mentioned earlier, I have heard lots of compliments in Math and English. I enjoy them the most, and I think that is why I can do the best in the four. At home I enjoy math problems that makes me think, and also I read a lot of English books. In fact, I read more English books than Korean ones, although Korean is my mother tongue. When I do read Korean books, it ends too quickly, since I read really fast.

So this is my life so far. I hope you enjoyed it(Boos). Come on(More Boos), but I really need you to read the P.S.

P.S. This is not a math blog. I know what it says on the front, but turns out I want to change the topic, and I can't change the name. This is just a typical blog so don't expect math problems. Thank you for reading.
